Sportflight is intended for those who already have sufficient experience with flying in a wind tunnel or with freefall, and are engaged in skydiving at a sports level.

A sports flyer can be an experienced “skydiver”, a graduate of AFF or another freefall course, but also an enthusiast without parachuting experience, who must however demonstrate sufficient skills, or have his own coach. In case he does not have one, we recommend the Hurricane Pro flying school. Each athlete must have his own equipment.

Hurricane Academy:
Flight school

We have prepared the first Hurricane Academy for you to teach you how to fly safely using your own body. Come and try with us how easy it is! We’ll go through everything from basic signals, through stomach flying to some acrobatic elements. Flying in the wind tunnel is intended for all physically healthy persons from the age of five.

The following rules apply when flying with an external coach:

Flight safety is always ensured by a Hurricane Factory Tatralandia instructor. Spotting may not be performed by an external coach.
The spotting fee is set individually upon request. The fee serves to maintain flight safety and covers the costs of a dedicated instructor who keeps the pilot constantly safe during maneuvers.
The fee is not charged for coaching led by a Hurricane Factory Tatralandia instructor – it applies exclusively to training with an external coach.
Hurricane Factory Tatralandia reserves the right to refuse an external coach if he does not ensure the safe conduct of the coaching, without the right to a refund of the fee.
We ask external coaches and sport flyers with their own coach to contact us in advance in order to arrange spotting and related formalities.
